Bomb Cosmetics Cherry Aid Brulee (bath melt) -review

Hi !

A little while ago I went on a shopping spree and I discovered a new brand/product at the Di Beauty and Care stores. Beautiful bath bombs, bath melts and soaps caught my eye. The display showed some delicious looking cupcake-bath melts and adorable bath bombs. I bought one of the bath melts and I’m sharing my opinion on this product in this blogpost.

I hadn’t come across the brand ‘Bomb Cosmetics’ ever before in a store or online. I searched for the brand online and learned that their amazing looking and smelling products are cruelty free (I try to only buy cruelty free products from cruelty free brands).

As you all may know, I totally love Lush products. They are cruelty free, handmade and high quality but some of their products are a little pricey. I can’t remember the price I paid for this cupcake bath melt, but they sell it online at for £4.50

This Cherry Aid Brulee bath melt is made from Bergamot and Chamomille essential oils and some natural butters to give you a smooth and moisturized skin. When I only used a little piece of this bath melt, it made my skin feel smooth and moisturized, as promised, but when I used a big chunk of the melt, my skin felt greasy and damp for hours after my bath and to be honest, I don’t like that feeling at all.

Bomb to the rescue! We’ll give you Cherry Aid, with pure Bergamot & Chamomile essential oils to restore your mind and enough natural butters to soothe your skin! Can be used up to 6 times.

I used my bath melt by breaking it into pieces (well, to be honest, it took a lot of effort to break this thing into a few pieces) and I dropped a piece into my bath. It’s a bath melt so you don’t get a lot of bubbles, some bubbles may appear but they disappear really quickly. It dissolves really well and I didn’t have any problems with staining.

Drop into your bath & watch as your Brulee selflessly releases moisturising cocoa butter and essential oils. Remove & use up to 6 times. Do not ingest. Please rinse petals or decorations away from bath immediately after use to prevent accidental staining.

I really liked this bath melt when used a little at a time. It gave the right amount of moisturization and smell, but when used to much it can make your skin feel greasy for a while. If I have to give this one a rating out of five, I would give it a 3,5.

Have you already used some of the Bomb Cosmetics products? What’s your opinion? Share it in the comments !
